Singing is exhaling with purpose. The diaphragm - a dome of muscle under your lungs - controls airflow. Train it, and everything else (pitch, tone, stamina) improves.
Try this
- Stand tall, shoulders relaxed.
- Inhale through the nose for 4 counts, expanding the belly and lower ribs.
- Exhale on a steady 'ssss' for 8 counts.
- Build up to 20+ counts over weeks.
